Geeti Ahmadzai is a member of the Board of Directors at ASEF. She is highly passionate about working on initiatives focused on innovative and sustainable solutions to break barriers of poverty, by utilizing technology to deliver educational, practical skill training, and advance healthcare services in Afghanistan.
Geeti is a registered pharmacist and holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Jefferson College of Pharmacy. She completed her higher education as a non-traditional student while raising her three children and is a strong advocate for promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) careers for women regardless of their socioeconomic background.
She has over 10 years of working experience in the healthcare sector and currently works in the healthcare IT space. In her current role, as a Senior Research Pharmacy IT Analyst with the Clinical Research Information Services Team at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, she specializes in supporting investigational pharmacy and clinical research functionality in Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) across the health system.
