On November 1, ASEF partnered with UnfreezeAfghanistan and held a successful virtual conference on “Winter is Coming to Afghanistan: A Humanitarian Crisis”. The event was heard by over 1900 users and highlighted the humanitarian crisis approaching the upcoming winter. Renowned scholars were invited to discuss economic situation, as well as on ground realities, to detail both the issues as well as potential solutions.
