ASEF hosted an emergency virtual conference regarding President Biden recent executive order, which allocate $3.5 billion frozen Afghan reserves for 9/11 families. The event was educational and action oriented, with speakers who provided thought leadership on the topic. The event also discussed potential solutions and next steps. We thank our distinguished speakers for their invaluable contributions and the nearly 400 attendees for participating and posing great questions. ASEF will continue to be solution oriented, to raise awareness on the plight of Afghans suffering, and be a voice for the millions left voiceless.
