On February 16th, the ASEF Core team met with US Representative Chrissy Houlahan together with Emgage.
Rep. Houlahan serves on the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Armed Services committee. ASEF emphasized that preventing a failed state in Afghanistan is in the US national self-interest.

ASEF proposed policy solutions to Rep. Houlahan to overcome the current economic and humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. ASEF has agreed to provide further policy details to Congresswoman Houlahan and her team, to assess and advocate in the U.S. government.

ASEF thanks Rep. Houlahan for her efforts in Afghanistan and for engaging with the Afghan-American community.
