Mr. Bin Shah received his M.A. in International Trade & Economic Diplomacy at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS), California 2016-17.

He assisted the Government of Afghanistan to promote investment opportunities and attract Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) while working with international firms, business associations, and policy organizations with a focus on ecosystems, industrial development, and sustainability.

Mr. Bin Shah led multiple teams to enhance Afghanistan’s exports to an increasingly diversified set of regional and international markets. At the Ministry of Industry & Commerce, his main responsibilities were to develop national trade & transit policies as well as the implementation of Afghanistan’s post-accession strategy at the WTO. Bin Shah’s office also served as a secretariat for the inter-ministerial National Trade Facilitation Committee (NTFC) of Afghanistan.

Bin Shah has also been part of multiple assignments for the World Bank, kfW, ACGF, FMFB-A, and other private clients.
