Afghan Sustainable Economic Foundation – ASEF came together as a grassroots movement to address the humanitarian crises in Afghanistan.
We are a diverse group of people from all walks of life, and we seek to raise awareness, and provide tangible solutions for policymakers, as well as economic solutions for Afghans in Afghanistan.

Dr. Altaf Husain - Vice President Associate Professor, School of Social Work, Howard University. Former VP of ISNA, Specialization includes community organizing, non-profit management, and social welfare policy; development of social services to serve immigrant and refugee families.
